Tim Stutts, Interaction Designer and Creative Solutions Architect

A self-professed Simcity addict of the 90's, Tim launched PushPopDesign in the fall of 2009, with the intent of designing awesome applications. Previous to that he spent three years working as a sound designer for interactive media and another four years designing software applications within an academic environment, a fortune 500 company and two start-ups. Tim holds a masters degree from NYU in Interactive Telecommunications and a BFA from CalArts in Music Technology. At PDD he works in a holistic capacity as an interaction designer, creative coder and sound designer, and enjoys opportunities where these domains overlap. His applications and frameworks of choice are Omnigraffle and Fireworks for creating UX deliverables; Processing and OpenFrameworks for creative coding; and Logic Audio and for Sound Design. Recently Tim has brought Andy and Joel aboard for their wisdom and expertise in development and graphic design.

Andy Doro, Front-End Developer

Andy Doro is from New York City. He holds a masters degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University and a bachelor's degree from Yale University. His own work consists largely of interactive and kinetic light sculptures and design objects which use technology to reveal hidden information systems. At PPD Andy implements web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery, PHP and MySQL, and has also begun using coding frameworks such as Processing and openFrameworks in a commercial context.

Joel Carlo, Graphic Designer

Joel has worked as a freelance artist and media designer for nearly two decades. He specializes in traditional and digital media, web design, print, copywriting, motion graphics and sound design. Although his professional experience has been largely autodidactic, he has studied at both the Tampa Art Institute and Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. His current roster ranges from commissioned work for small studio projects to larger commissions. At PPD, he creates stunning graphics to make user interfaces pop. He's also well-versed in the entire Adobe Creative Suite and an array of other applications. A multi-talented designer, we eagerly await for opportunities to involve him in other capacities as well.
